I as the Principal of the college take this opportunity to welcome you all to Pine Grove College of Education, Bassi Pathanan. It is an exhilarating experience to be a part of this esteemed institution. We see the education experience as a journey that should be stimulating and enjoyable as our teacher trainees move towards their potential as life-long learners and as leaders of the future. I feel happy when the bright and talented students perform remarkable well. However what makes me happier is when a weak students from a rural background progresses steadily from poor performance to better performance, moving towards excellence. Pine Grove College of Education has stood above the rest in its approach to education and in its pedagogies. Education is not an act of acquiring knowledge but learning a skill to lead life and forming one’s personality. Students are encouraged to strive to reach their full potential in an environment that stresses self-discipline, self esteem and respect for others. The staff of the college and I look forward to providing the challenge, support and positive environment for the success of every student.
